      21 day water fast questions - 07/05/2008 07:30

      Hi my name is Addi,

New to the boards, and very happy to have found this site! I have had many successful short fasts, and my longest fast was for 7 days! Breaking the fast was terrible though on my part, and I couldn't stop binging. Is there any suggestions or advise for that? I know it is dangerous too, as my body did react very bad to it, and I continued on a binge episode and gained more lbs back. I need more self control and meditation I believe.

Another question is that I saw at the water fasting section, that there is a section for 3 day, 7 day, 14 day, and than 30 day. Is there a reason why there isn't a place for 21 days?

I currently have alot of toxin build up and am dealing with over eating and binge eating. I am hoping to embark on an epic water fast to free my mind body and soul of impurities that have led me to this disorder for the past 2 months. I need to regain my life and health.

      Thank you :O)

      Hi Addi,

Thanks for connecting with us in such a good spirit, and for the advice to add a 21 day fast section to the forum.

Binge eating and all manor of excesses are not new to this site, we all have our demons to deal with and its great to show them out the door.

Frequent fasts are a good way to deal with this as will power increases with frequent fasting and obviously there is a very positive cumulative effect in doing short regular fasts.

I trust that this site will serve to bring you one step or many steps closer to your goal.

      David
