2008 My Way
Intermittent Fasting combined with long fasting and 1 serving of liquid vegi diet on eating days.
Eat 1 serving 4 days per week - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
February: 30 day fast
May: 30 day Fast
August: 30 day Fast
November: 30 day Fast
= Approximately 72 total days Liquid vegi food.

This looks like a reasonably sensible approach if you wish to lose a lot of weight.
Be careul, however, not to allow a regimen to be imposed on you (not even by yourself!) which could override your body's biofeedback. If you "don't hear a thing" from your body you could follow the program, but please do not hesitate to adapt if your body tells you to. Your response(s) could be difficult to predict, particularly after a period of time.
It would also be wise to have a blood test during each longer fast, testing inter alia the urea, electrolytes, muscle enzymes like AST and CK and the liver enzyme ALT at the very least. Drastic changes in these could indicate the need to abort a fast.
You are welcome to use this forum with feedback and I'll endeavour to be on hand with advice. But a local doctor willing to examine you regularly will be a good idea.

I have re-thought my approach for this as it was to extream for me. I think one 30 day Fast per Year should work as a great regenerative fast. I will still continue intermittent short fasting eating once every second day (Supper only) as this is not difficult.

Jordan, I think this is a very wise decision. It's so much better to achieve your aim than to aim too high and miss the target.. Anyway, even I have never fasted more than a week or 10 days at a time, but at least 60 to 80 days per year, spread over time. I resever longer fasts not for maintenance but for cure so use them only to treat overt disease. Congratulations on your achievements so far. André
