Ive had a hard time lately to start a long fast, and I believe my body are trying to tel me something. So.... I said... I am listening! Finally I have decided I am going to do it differently this time. I am not planning a long fast at least for the next couple of months, I am doing intermediate fasting.
So Ive read Dr Andre's book Health won, and I thought a bit about what David said about short fasting, when he was in the process to change the blog... which didnt happen yet ...LOL... the point is - I want to know how my body will respond with intermediate fasting.
Ive modified the "diet" (its not really a diet, its a lifestyle change) in the book. Its based on 7 days (a week) but I though eating the same every day sounds boring, so Ive cut one day and my cycle is 6 days. Which means I will eat or fast on a different day every week. Since I got weight to loose I opted to fast 2 days out of every cycle (60 hours). I didnt want to do three days, because I've already "cut" out one day of the week.
The process is fairly simple - fast, then build up eating from simple carbs until you get to the fatty meal, then fast again.
So far so good, I am currently in cycle 3 - Ive lost weight in both the 1st and 2nd cycle. Will keep you posted.
