Intermittent Fasting

Hi I want to know when to eat and not eat on a IF diet.

I am going to be working out two hours a day.

I want to eat raw foods or Daniel Type Diet.

My Goal is to build muscle, and loss fat, I heard growth hormone is produced, that will help with muscle recovery and growth.

I want to start immediately so please if you could let me know what times and days are included in the IF and maybe the benefits of it. This would really help me out.

If you bear in mind, dear Sviken, that a fast typically start about 24 hours after the last meal, then the ideal time to eat would be a "window" of about 6-8 hours every second day. The best time for exercise is before eating: That is, after all, how our ancestors ate: They had to hunt or gather before being able to eat. Exercise prepares your digestive system by generating more blood flow as well as Endorphins and Irisin which reverses stress and allows more resources to be diverted to the digestive system.

If you have a "normal" pattern of sleeping every night, I would suggest you break the fast at about noon with fruits and salads being the mainstay of the diet. But if you could have a more fatty meal (containing oils for example) as the last meal of the cycle, that would nudge your metabolism towards fat in anticipation.
