I've just finished an 8 day fast 2 days ago, but was planning on doing a 10+ day fast. I'm not entirely sure what happened; before I knew it, I put a cucumber in my mouth at around 10 pm, then another one, then a Kit Kat, and finally pasta, burgers, and a 1lb bag of sour patch. Then yesterday, I decided to reward myself for fasting by eating TONS AND TONS OF CHINESE FOOD AND CHOCOLATE. Boy was that a mistake. I've been bloated and have had cramps ALL DAY AND NIGHT. I thought that re-feeding your body after a fast would improve results, but junk food definitely does not. Today I have eaten healthy so far (oatmeal, fruit, salad, fish), but am going back to fasting tomorrow. I run about 3 miles each day and swim for about 1.5 hours each day. How will this effect my water fast? And how do I ease back into a normal diet without overloading my digestive system? I'm 5'0. Oh, and here are the results from my previous fast:
Starting Weight (SW): 111.2
Final Weight (FW): 97.0
Lost 1.5 inches around my waist (25.5-24.0) and 1 inch off my hips (34.5-33.5)

OMG you sound like me half the time! LOL. But don't feel bad. There will always be next time and success!

I am on Day 1. Care to give it another go and join me?

Great progress! I'm almost done with my water fast and so far so good. Here are my results:

Weight: 96.8
Waist: 23.0
Hips: 33.0

The first two days were completed with ease. Usually, days 3-5 are the most challenging for me, but I found that I was used to the feeling of hunger, and it did not bother me As much. Don't get me wrong, I still felt hungry and light headed, but I was able to tolerate it much better. The "chicken skin" on my arms is clearing up wonderfully, and I've had it for 6 years now. I can't wait to see my final results!
