I just began my DRY fasting from 24 November for improving health problem (top goal -treatment my prostate gland without medication and reduce frequent urination and sometimes pain).
So far I had 3 days for general health (2002) and 4 days dry fasting for cure cold (2006). As a medical doctor – Physician and NATUROPATH I am not afraid to cure myself using medical dry fasting. The reading Dr Filonov’s book to help me realize my program to be healthy myself.
The last 20 years I never used medication except vitamins, sometimes homeopathic remedy, but very rarely.

23 NOVEMBER
No laxative and no enema for preparation and during the DRY FAST.
I stopped eating at 10 AM and last time had drink water at 8 PM.
24 NOVEMBER
I got a walk 2 and 15 minutes for shopping (round walk from my house to supermarket and bought a meal for my wife). After that I felt weakness and sleepy, no wishes to talk and watch TV. I got 1 hour sleep and woke up after phone ring. In evening I felt a taste of salt in my mouth. The rest of the day been absolutely calm and my brain been relaxing. All time I been active used computer and in evening watch TV. I went to the bed at 10 PM and woke up at 5 AM (no urination during night). Sometimes a little pain I felt in prostate during this day.

Hey Vlad,
First of all, good luck on your fast! I know you are a master faster and don't need such well wishing, but I've enjoyed your posts in the past and hope you succeed 110%.
Secondly, I am still confused about the extra benefits of dry fasting over regular water fasting. Is there a healing advantage to dry fasting? And if so, what are the biological mechanisms behind that advantage? How long can one dry fast without taking in some water? I know body fat breaks down into water, but is that enough water to keep from dehydrating? And what about exercising while dry fasting? Would profuse perspiration effect a dry fast negatively? So many questions... I know. -jim

25 November
Today the weather is dully, temperature +5C.
In the morning time I got 1 hour walk at the nearest Central Park – 10 minutes from my apartment. Twice I touch 2 trees and tried to get energy thought about grow up my power.
After that I have been working using computer on Internet and no sleeping practically all day. In mouse I felt sometimes taste of salt or acid. I felt a small weakness and decrease power, but spirit grown up and freedom!

I am ready to provide my healing fasting as long as I will can. As a medical doctor for emergency service I have been on duty at hospital from 8.30 PM to 8.30 AM 26 November. I provided examinations 6 patients under supervision and treatment after complain from somebody (including pneumonia). I got a deep sleep (no waking up at night time and no urination) from 10.30 PM to 5.40 AM. I have been sleep with open window leaf for fresh air.
For all day 25 November I got 500 ml of urine (the last drink of water I had 23 November), couple times the pain in prostate.
SPECIAL NOTES for visitor JIM (during DRY FAST the skin sucks in everything from air! The fat produces water for body as a result disintegration).

26 November, 3.30 PM
After my work I took a walk from hospital during 2 hours, and slept immediately at home 2 hours. During I walk I spit out phlegm and snot from nose. I am needed in fresh air and window is partly opened. By the way, from this day I constantly feel dry in mouse, throat, and lips, in particularly after talk. No wishes to eat and drink!

Thanks for this very interesting account of your first two days on the dry fast. If I understood correctly you went for a walk and then placed your hand on a couple of trees and attempted to draw energy from them? Can you explain this process in more depth. Although I know that this is not scientific I believe that this is possible as I always feel more energized while sitting with my back against a tree, especially a mighty Oak. Also if I understand correctly you are working nights during this fast? If so that must be incredibly taxing on your system?

26 November

During the rest that day I had awful smell from mouth - Acidosis process appeared. My throat was dry and I often breathed through my nose trying to escape from these feelings.
That also helped. When my wife came home after work, we spent the whole evening watching TV.
The whole evening I was thirsty,And when I went to the bed I could not sleep and and very thirsty.
At 11 PM I stopped my DRY fasting - have been drinking water.

27 November

In the morning I drunk a butter milk (Russian kefir)for adding lactic acid bacteria for digestion,and later porridge without salt. During day I was eating butter milk,porridge,1 banana,water with a little lemon juice. I felt fine and facial skin colored (up to this face was haggard).All meal I slowly chewed. At 9pm I got 20 drops of laxatives Guttalax (made in Germany)and went to bed at 10 PM. I took the laxative for personal reason (it is not good for digestive system after fasting)- chronic anal fissure, because I do'nt want to have additional problems - injury and the gap edges. Next day I again will be on duty (prevention stercorous jams and long-term constipation and damage to the anus).

28 November

I woke at 5 AM - first stool been with a little mucus.
I feel good, in my thoughts and behavior of calm. The prostate is fine, good sleep.
Today I am on duty from 2PM to 8.30 AM of next day.
I break my short fasting successfully and now continue my diet for that. If you have any questions - read FILONOV'S book about fasting on this FORUM. My experience is not a strong rule, more better and healthy is regenerative eating after Dry fasting in the article on this forum FOR JIM (have to translate from RUSSIAN by GOOGLE translator).

NOTES:Recovery after DRY fasting must be using first meal with some proteins instead of juce for safety starting works again pancreas gland, than some different recovery from water fasting.
