water fast for beautiful skin
Day 1. Hi, I am 40 years old and I don't look or feel it at all. I have many short juice and water fasts to thanks for that. Today is the first day of my water fast. I have been here, at day one several times before. I have done a bunch of one day waters but this will be my 3rd longer water fast, I have done a 10 day and a 5 day. During both of my previous fasts I was not so strict...I chewed gum, drank coffee, even had a beer or two. I also had great success despite those bad choices. I am of weak willpower and not so disiplined. I don't feel so bad about this because I describe myself in comparison to most Americans that I see. I eat 90% organic, only 10 lbs over weight, and exercise, plus lots of short water and juice fasts. I have a stubborn swollen painful inguinal lymph node for years. The pain went away when I did my first 10 day water fast and has been gone since. That was in the beginning of spring. The pain is starting to creep up on me again and the swelling never really went away only lessened. This is why I want to go on a longer fast this time, I don't know, maybe 20 days or so. I want to continue for as long as I can or until the swelling is gone completely. Also during my last 10 day fast, towards the end my skin was really clear and smooth. I want to achieve beautiful skin with this longer fast because I know that clear smooth skin is a reflection of internal health. My skin issues include, mild acne, old cystic acne scarring, stretch marks, age spots, a mole or two, a skin tag and I also have an over all reddish tone on my face and chest which indicates inflammation. I would love to get rid of all of these! I will not chew gum or drink coffee during this fast. I am a believer in babysteps. I would love to hear successful skin healing stories with fasting. I am an expert at Day 1, Day 2 scares me...it is the hardest for me! Thanks, Dana
